Pediatrician's Corner

This page is dedicated exclusively to children's health and development. I have built this website to help parents (most especially first-time moms and dads or even soon-to-be-parents), in their everyday health concerns regarding their child, from a pediatrician's point of view. You can post anything you want as long as it concerns your child's health. It could be from a simple nappy rash to a prolonged cough or fever. It could be a concern for your toddler's speech or social development or a question on vaccines. New mothers oftentimes are apprehensive and may need some advice - formula or breastfeeding? On-demand feed or parent-directed feeding? baby's sleeping patterns? Not yet sleeping through the night? what are the various developmental toys/media for my child? what bakuna to give and when (and even how much:) developmental charts, growth charts, weight and height tables, etc.

But please take note - this is not a medical consultation. Everything posted here cannot and should not replace a visit to your doctor - just some advice from a mom or dad like you, who just happens to be a concerned pediatrician=) So feel free to post, and I'll try to give you the best advice/opinion I can give, based from my medical knowledge and my personal experience as a father.
Happy parenting!
